Education support for Ms. Mahalakshmi

Mahalaxmi is a studying 8th standard in Fransiscan institute high school, Hosur Road, Dhamaram College Post, Bengaluru, 560 029. Unfortunately her house is burnt in fire accident and her mom Mrs. Parimala who used to work as dish washer in a restaurant lost her job due to Covid. Mrs. Parimala is a single mom and working as a maid in few houses and supporting her family and unable to pay school fees of her daughter. Samisti Role : Samisti Trust paid school fees of Ms. Mahalaxmi for the academic year 2021 -2022.

Education support for Ms.Sowmya

Sowmya is a school topper in 10th standard at Government High School, Sivakodu, East Godavari District and joined 1st year PUC (Intermediate) at Sai Deepthi College, Nagaram, East Godavari  District. Unfortunately Sowmya lost her father in 2019 and her mom is working as a agricultural labour and managing the family and unable to support Sowmya’s education. Sowmya wants to pursue B.Com and aspires to be a bank employee in future. Samisti Role : Samisti Trust paid for college fees of Ms. Sowmya for the academic year 2020 -2021.

Education support for Ms.K. Vijayavalli

Vijayavalli is a school topper in Government School, Sivakodu, Est Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh in her 10th standard and   was selected for the 6 year integrated program of Computer Science Program at RGUKT(IIIT), Nuzvid. She completed 2 years of PUC(Intermediate Board of Andhra Pradesh)     and in her 2nd year of Engineering at Rajeev Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies ( RGUKT aka IIIT, Nuzvid). Unfortunately Vijayavalli lost her father in March, 2020 and her mom is managing the family with a small piece of agriculture land they own. Though local government is taking care of her major items like fees and laptop, she is unable to pay th examination fees and and other expenses. Samisti Role : Samisti Trust paid examination fees and other collage expenses  of Ms. Vijayavalli for the academic year 2020 -2021.

Mentoring Ms. Lavanya to become an IT professional

Lavanya comes from a farmer’s family in Cheepurupalli, Vizianagaram District, Andhra Pradesh.  Lavanya graduated from first batch of NIIT Tadepalligudem in year 2019 and took a 6 months break to help her mom at home for sister’s delivery. Late 2019 she moved to Hyderabad for Java training course. Lavanya could not get a job interviews and also due to Covid she moved back to Cheepurupalli. Lavanya was worried as she didn’t get any job interviews in whole of 2020 due to Covid as well as she was from 2019 pass out. Samisti Role : Samisti Trust mentored her to improve communication skills, soft skills, Technical skills and also Samisti arranged 2 job interviews and also a contract job was offered. In the mean time, with her improved technical skills and communication skills she managed to get a job as Software Engineer in a MNC at Hyderabad.
